Well that's great that Pop seems to work very well and he has convinced me to go forward with one of my laptops to go that route.
But with me now in the busy season at work and with winter coming soon, I doubt I will have time to achieve this before Xmas!

Thanks again MichelN86, for your great video and input on the Pop OS.
Maybe you should start a thread about Linux software, after all it seems many post about Linux OS in general, just saying.
I use sites for that, specially for gaming. I am not sure if a linux thread will help here since there are different linux distros using different stuff (fedora, arch linux, ubuntu and so on).

Well not just for the gaming side, just remembering several past posts I've seen, but I see what you mean, there's a lot of different versions.
I guess I will just stick with searching on sites like distrowatch and the likes.

Yep that’s what i do too, distrowatch is more for info about a specific OS. 9to5Linux is a site that has info about new app releases, updates, distros and so on. Thats one of the sites i check. But gaming on linux has those info too

I would recommend the program wushowhide to disable auto update on the intel graphics driver and i highly recommend O&O ShutUp10++ to disable all the spyware/telemetry Microsoft added in Windows 10/11.

!!!!IMPORTANT NOTE!!!!
On 1 September i installed
Pop! OS 22.04 on my external 1TB nvme drive (the one that got shipped with this notebook). So far it is working like a dream. I am very happy with the results on this machine so far. When i install this OS on my internal drive, windows will be wiped. This means i do not need any windows drivers anymore, which means i will (probably) not update this topic anymore to add newer drivers. If by any means Pop! OS fails and i really need Windows to rely on, then of course this topic will receive the driver updates as how you got used to.

But so far....it still did not fail.

Pop! OS 22.04 i can select which graphic card i want to use. By default Pop! OS selected the NVIDIA card after install. I tested yesterday the integrated graphics and that is working fine too. Power button became white too. Switching it back and i have the orange button. In windows i always had orange for some reason. I am thinking to keep it like this so i get the maximum performance out of this laptop, i am going to test HYBRID Graphics tommorow. More info about this can be found here.

Touchpad can be disabled too, i always did this in Windows 11.

Thanks for your continued support of the Windows drivers, despite you moving to a new platform. It is very much appreciated.

despite you moving to a new platform
I still did not format my windows 11 (yet). Still testing Pop! OS on the external nvme drive, did not switched back to Windows 11 since then which is a good sign. Today i tested lutris to make epic games to work, gog and ea app. The last application gaved me a bit headache but i managed to get it to work. So far, everything is working fine for me.

Lutris got improved since 2021/2022. developers teamed up to get proton to work now without the need of steam.

Tommorow i might share a video about those stores.

It's all very positive so far. I am keeping an eye on your developments. I only use Linux on my Steam Deck (which I rarely touch these days), and I am considering moving to Linux on my upcoming RTX 5090 build, which I am hoping is later this year, but we shall see. I will probably leave my current MSI laptop on Windows.

I didn't mean to even post anything that day, 9/12/2024. Now I learned what hitting the Reply button does even though one changes their mind.
My 12th Gen(21H2) laptop was acting up that day but what would one expect running an expired "OS". But this is (the OS) what came with it when I bought in May 2024.
I tried going to 22H2 but Windows Update would have no such thing, it was 23H2 or nothing. I chose nothing because I knew 24H2 was coming out in Oct.
Edge & The MS Store died & came back for 3 days then died again. I got the Store working for just what the computer currently has installed. New apps, it demands an account & payment method even for the "Free" apps, WTH? That's OK, I don't need the MS Store or Edge which I promptly uninstalled, (found an uninstaller for it) then manually removed it's leftovers. Like the Windows Store, Android/Google Store the same thing, I don't use the Google Play Store either, ads shoved down one throat, I'll pass. I installed Firefox in the 17" to have a backup browser, but haven't really tried it out. It's been a while, years? Been using Opera, seems I don't have a problem sending all my info to China. Everything I buy is made there, they mys well know who their selling to. Hopefully the 17"will work until a new "OS" is installed, it seems to have calmed down. I had a whole bunch of stuff that was acting up & I chose not to run System Restore (3 Times recently) anymore either/aka one step forward, 2 steps back.
I downloaded Pop OS , but haven't had the time to try it out yet, some day soon before the year's out. I will most likely make up 2 install ISOs.
Thanks for the driver updates, Guys! Good luck with your new Thread & Pop OS MichelN86.
