I use Libre Office also since 2021, prefer it to Microsoft Office, you can't beat the price also and never had any issues with it, in any Windows version.Make sure you test it before installing. If you like it or not. For new users it’s sometimes a challenge to find the correct apps on linux. Mostly they give up if something happens and take the easy road and reinstall windows. When i started to use linux in 2021 i had it installed on my notebook, but i also made sure i had another installation on my external drive. I did this so i could test stuff before i made a mess on my notebook.
For microsoft paint i use pinta in linux.
For internet i use Firefox
For gaming i use steam/ea app. Epic games and gog games i use lutris for.
For microsoft office i use libre office (open office can also be used).
When you try linux, don’t give up if you don’t know how. Google can help, the linux community can help and believe it or not…copilot online can help too.
