I have graphic issues & I can't get back up!
Join the fun. Yes so do I. The lastest Intel graphic driver updates are erroring out on my 12th Gen on-board graphics. When ? Good question. When Intel released their graphics cards for sale. Me, I am going backwards to 10/29/2024 &/or earlier if need be. Intel's latest releases are "yuge", larger then nVidia gamming card drivers. But, butt. nVidia DO NOT error out. Intel's do! Their one size fits all is bullxxxx! So I quit trying to worry &/or bother with a on-board driver updates. & their Bluetooth/Wifi maybe 2 times a year for me, maybe. It was nice while it lasted, but to me it looks like the party is over. Meanwhile I installed 23H2 on all my laptops. Everyone has different issues with this same update.
Good luck out there, you'll need it.

I noticed most of the drivers in this thread are outdated. I updated everything, which took only minutes. I presume everyone else is going it alone, too.

Well I fixed my Intel graphics issues. I was getting 4 different types of errors. Now all gone. For at least Intel's last 3 updates.
I went back in time, 9/20/24. For me me it seems (just a guess) these errors are related to the release of their graphics cards.

Here's maybe a new one, Intel_R_ME_SW_2451.7.6.0.zip. Though it was released 1/8/25. size: 1.4 GB

Note: the link posted only goes to Intel's download page for this update. I tried.

7th thru 14th Gen Intel & Intel Core "Ultra" Processors (Meteor-Series 1/Arrow-Series 2/Lunar-Series 2)
Includes Legacy, Main_DCH, drivers & IMSS_Store apps with a PDF install guide. Legacy, who still uses that?

I know I was at Intel's website searching for updates. Did this show up? Nope.
I found this today doing a DuckDuck search about something kinda related. MEI_WMI running in 32 bit.

I've been working on the GL76 for about 3 weeks, new SSD's, Killer WIFI 7 & went from 21H2 to 23H2.
Most of the main OS errors are gone (for now). Still blocking Windows update, biggly time.
Windows wants to put back in the so-called system apps I left at the curb. Not gonna happen on my shift.
My 10th Gen while on 23H2 has Realtek Audio issues. If I want to fix it, it's called a new OS install.
Looks like I'll live with the audio issues for a while longer on that one.

My AMD Raider I just might have to go backwards with the on-board Radeon Graphics on that one too.
Similar problem the drivers are tailored for their graphic cards so they produce errors for on-board ones.
But I don't think the errors are as bad as Intel's are. I can't remember I been working my older laptops for the last 3 weeks,
but it was worth it. Now all 3 laptops have larger drives, more memory & running the same OS, 23H2.

Nahimic APO4 driver version 4.12.5.0 + A-volute MSI Extension driver version 1.5.62.0 {download here}

eh forget about this Nahimic APO & Extension driver that I posted several weeks ago in late January.
MSI finally has this new one posted on their web site - Nahimic APO4 driver version 4.12.5.0 + A-volute MSI Extension driver version 1.5.65.0 (released in February 2025)

but it was worth it. Now all 3 laptops have larger drives, more memory & running the same OS, 23H2.

staying with Win11 23H2 is good choice since MS still has some ongoing audio & networking issues with 24H2 to fix

I would recommend the program wushowhide to disable auto update on the intel graphics driver and i highly recommend O&O ShutUp10++ to disable all the spyware/telemetry Microsoft added in Windows 10/11.

So I had a bright idea with this update.
I tried just updating the display driver via clean install. It removed the HDMI audio but didn't reinstall it. Then the "Orange" power indicator light stayed always on.
Nice try, nope. Reinstall of everything nVidia.
My AMD has video thrashing issues, will try a reinstall of all OEM AMD drivers resetting the page file to different sizes was a no go.

This thrashing problem seems to be isolated to my AMD laptop. I checked my Intel laptops & they don't have this issue.
KB5050092 was suppose to address & fix this Virtual Memory Management/paging/swap file issue.
Haven't found a fix yet. Will tryout other video players & put back in the original SSD drive to see if Thrashing is done on that one too.
Then will go to the MSI driver page for the AMD drivers for the chipset, any/all AMD software & AMD onboard video driver.

and ANOTHER new Realtek audio driver version recently released by MSI - version 6.0.9785.1 (again, released for recent MSI business type laptops such as Modern)

apparently there was a "second" 6.0.9785.1 audio driver package (same version, different CRC/hash, I guess)

other but older audio driver versions released in February 2025: 6.0.9761.1, 6.0.9768.1 {NB/laptop edition} & 6.0.9771.1
6.0.9761.1 version listed for recent MSI "Venture" series laptop PCs
