MSI Crosshair 15 (B12U) Latest driver updates.

Never had this issue when i used windows, cant test it either. Did you check the ini file if your id was listed ?
I did a bit of research yesterday and discovered neither the MSI version nor the newer one includes hardware IDs that match my specific laptop model, Raider 18 HX AI A2XWJG. That said, the MSI package does contain an extra INF file called dtt_ext.inf, which installs a component specifically tied to certain Intel CPUs. One of the device IDs listed, PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_AD03, matches the Meteor Lake platform used in my Ultra 9 285HX. That additional targeting is likely why this version avoids the Event Viewer errors I was seeing with the generic driver.
I've forgotten the error code now, as I quickly removed the driver. It appeared every hour, so it was concerning. Reverting to MSI's stock driver resolved it.

So many problems and yet they say 24h2 is their best reliable version 😂. Just wow 😂

I really don’t want to praise Linux to much, but since i am using it on my MSI notebook (almost a year now). I had 0 crashes or problems. Everything is so smooth and perfect ❤️

Yeah I downgraded to 23H2. 24H2 is really crap.

but the Home & Pro editions of Windows 11 version 23H2 go "out of support" or EOL this November 2025 and will no longer get any updates after that. the Education & Enterprise editions of 23H2, on the other hand, will get another year of updates until November 2026.

and Microsoft is scheduled to release a Windows 11 25H2 this coming fall 2025. so by that time, the minimum supported Win11 version will be 24H2.

I am so glad i don´t have Windows anymore, i don´t even miss it. I remember my MSI Notebook got affected by BSOD after 6 months of using (closing a game and bam bsod/reboot). I swapped out the ram and replaced it for 64GB (was planning to upgrade anyway), i removed the 1TB NVME drive and Upgraded the notebook to 2x 4TB Samsung 990 Pro's. Nothing worked, the (nvldkmm) issue presisted till nvidia admitted MS pushed a update through for 24H2 which they where not prepared for. It took NVIDIA 3 months to fix this.

I plan to switch to Linux when the time is right. However, with many titles like BF6 that I will be jumping into on day one, I'll hold off until the multiplayer issues are resolved. I will probably make the jump in a couple of years. The biggest problem with Windows is that it constantly mines your data. Thankfully, my system is set up so that NOTHING goes to Microsoft. I regularly monitor my traffic, and 0% of my data is sent to them. I am off the grid as far as they are concerned, so I am happy with Windows until I switch my OS in the near future.

Well i play only single player games, the games i play works super great!. Crysis Remaster 1/2/3 are all above 150 fps and the settings are set to high. The games you speak of is EA, they see Linux users as cheaters and banned linux from online playing. Same counts for (if i am not wrong) ubisoft. Halo works fine online too by the way.

Keep an eye on this https://areweanticheatyet.com/

Pop! OS 22.04 is installed!. Everything works out of the box. No issues at all, it even detects my Dualshock 4 controller, in windows i have to use a program (DS4Windows) to emulate the xbox360 controller.

Video will be posted later for now a few screenshots added.
