Here are some videos to show you all that gaming on linux is a breeze. The following games below are abandonware, games i played in the past (except star trek legacy). Linux is great! and i still do not regret the switch i made back in aug/sept 2024.

Star Trek Legacy:

Clive Barker's Jericho: Just a crash during record, but so far the game runs perfectly fine.

Prey (2006): Used a 14 years old notebook.

Mortyr: Used a 14 years old notebook.

Mortyr II: Used a 14 years old notebook.

Wolfenstein (2009) runs great under linux. I play so many old games that don’t even have a proton verified tag on it…so great!

I don't want to post how amazing Linux is, really i don't ... BUT it is haha. I used my older gaming (before i bought the MSI Crosshair 15 B12UGSZ) Notebook Acer Predator G9-793-71SJ to install Dolphin to play my older gamecube game i still have laying around and i am amazed how good this emulator runs under Linux.

I tip my hat to you for creating an extremely useful thread. Your driver updates and support for the community were genuinely appreciated. When you switched to Linux and announced you were leaving, you left the thread in a good place for Windows users to continue benefiting from it.

This is why I was surprised by one of your recent comments: Why not let this topic die? The thread is still very helpful to many Windows users. Lately, it has been filled with repeated YouTube links to Linux gaming, which doesn’t seem appropriate for a Windows driver discussion and only derails the topic.

I hope you take this in the constructive spirit intended. The thread is part of what you began, and many people still rely on it. Keeping it focused helps everyone.

Yes your correct about that, sorry for going offtopic. Just wanted to share since my transition to Linux…i did not lose anything. Everything Windows offers can be done in Linux. I will keep the topic clean for you all, keep the drivers posted 😎

Great to hear, even after all this time, you had no regrets making the leap.

I believe in Linux religion.

For some reason, in the latest two Nahimic drivers - both Nahimic 4.15.3 and 4.15.4. The icon does not appear on the taskbar at boot, nor does it remain there after closing the software. Well, it doesn't for me anyway.
If anyone is experiencing the same issue, this simple command restores the autostart rule. Add it to the registry.

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
NahimicSysTray = "C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\NhNotifSys\nahimic\nahimicNotifSys.exe"
