Hi everyone, last week I updated the dragon center application to version 2.0.54.0, after using this app for about 5 days I noticed that my games had a serious fps drop and a terrible vertical synchronization, after investigating and excluding other applications I have come to empirical proof that this MSI app has a heavy and negative effect on the performance of my pc, every time I start this app [that I have currently uninstalled] the pc becomes slow and laggy and the graphics card but also the processor seem to suffer quite a lot this app in the background, with the previous version I didn't have this problem.

I totally removed this app and the pc went back to working as before without any problem, I tried to install this app again and in fact the pc again showed problems and therefore I removed it permanently.
I state that with this app I mainly used mystic light to controll the amd sr3 lamplight and the leds of the mobo, I have not touched other settings as I have everything set via bios.

This is my configuration:

B450 Tomahawk with the latest bios version
R5 3600
Corsair Vengeance RGB 3600mhz 16GB
Sapphire Radeon Nitro+ rx570 4GB
Corsair TXM 650W 80 plus gold
Samsung 970 evo plus
Win 10 64bit ver 2004

In my opinion they really need to fix Dragon Center! I have all kinds of problems with it including missing mobile center. Random inability to change lights. Fans turn off turbo mode. And more! Please fix or roll back ASAP

There is unfortunately very little anyone will be able to do about it.
Best I can suggest is contact MSI directly and complain about it.

I'm constantly complaining to MSI about Dragon Center, and how poorly it's done. How it installs all kinds of bloatware and other things that aren't needed.
I would estimate that 75% of people only want it to handle the LEDs for their products. It would be better and simpler if they made separate software that handled it. Sadly, I don't think that will happen anytime soon.
