I managed to start DC. To do this, we had to change the processor model in the registry.
I have an MSI GS65 8RE laptop.
The application works completely without problems. Tested for a week.

Some DC modules are not loaded because they are not declared. In order to declare modules, you need access to the "c:\Program Files\WindowsApps\9426MICRO-STARINTERNATION.DragonCenter_2.0.126.0_x64__kzh8wxbdkxb8p\" directory, but it is not possible to get access to this directory to change files. Module configuration files (Define_Base.M, Define_Base.N).
The most important thing is to find the file that is responsible for starting the processor ID and add the 8th and 9th generation processors to it.

Maybe someone has already found a solution?

The main thing for me is to get access to the UWP application folder, and there it's a small matter...

Except for the Define_Base file.N, need to fix another file NB_Support.dll in the SDK.

Hi,

booting a live linux system from a usb stick should give you access to the windows file system.

It's not a fact that there will be access...
Access is no longer needed to the installed UWP application.
It all comes down to the SDK.

If someone wants to test Dragon Center UWP on the 8th and 9th generation, then write here.
Owners of GT, GS, GE laptops are welcome.

Already MSI Dragon Center UWP fully works on the 8th and 9th generation with Intel processors.
This method can also be used for MSI Center UWP.

@43z4w157002d5 , Why do you want to upgrade Dragon Center to Center?
It's not a fact that the update will work stably because there are too many differences in the program.

Dragon Center will never be updated dev. is stoped and that models with 10th generation processors are not included in the MSI Center Software. For me are only two things interesting
Battery Master and Silent mod all other stuff i don't need.

MSI Dragon Center UWP support for 8th and 9th generation

Installation Instructions:
- Download Dragon Center UWP (link).
- Change the processor name in the registry to the 10th generation of Intel processors (for example, i7-10870H). After restarting the laptop, the processor name will restore itself.
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\CentralProcessor\0]
"ProcessorNameString"="Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10870H CPU @ 2.20GHz"
- Install Dragon Center.
- Run Dragon Center as an administrator to install the SDK.
- Open the Task Manager and close all the services that were started by Dragon Center.
- Replace the file NB_Support.dll (C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\One Dragon Center\ ). Replace the file Fan.txt (C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\MSI NBFoundation Service\ ).
- To correctly display the number of fans in the program, you need to manually enter the required number of fans installed in the laptop in the registry for the Fan parameter.
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\MSI\One Dragon Center\Component\Base Module\GeneralSetting]
"Fan"=dword:00000003
- Restart the laptop.

If everything was done correctly, then Dragon Center UWP will work properly.
Added support for GT, GS, GE laptops, but of course you need to fully test.

There may be a problem with Battery Master, but this is inaccurate since MSI has changed the registers to control this function. Information on Reddit. Need to test.

thx it works with i7 10th gen EC17E7EMS1.107 2021-05-21 my EC address is D7 u helps me o lot
New memory location to set the battery charge level on MSI 11th gen models. The procedure is the same, but the EC address is D7 instead of EF.

@43z4w157002d5 , This question (Silent Mod) is not relevant in this discussion as it goes beyond the scope...
Regarding the Battery master issue, I need a file API_NB_Battery.dll from the MSI Center to check the register.

Thank you for adding support for legacy processors to the program. I tried it on my laptop and everything works fine.

Hi

You can look here:

It is version1.0.2203.101 of the API_NB_Battery.dll. MSI Center version is 1.0.41.0.

I uninstalled Dragon Center and my Notebook works just as silent as with DC i use Silent Option
This is of course good, but how to control the power of the graphics adapter without Dragon Center?

This file "API_NB_Base Module.dll" which you provided is not responsible for the battery!
Install all modules in the MSI Center and archive the entire folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\" and put it on a good file sharing site.
