so i have a brand spankin new eclipse board and 920 processor that i got in a combo deal with 3x2. i had them tested before shipped so that i could rest assured that i wasn't getting a lemon. well something tastes a little sour to me anyway. the test results said that the MB recognized the CPU and everything else was good. i hook up my whole system. everything looks fine. flip the powerswitch on the back of my power supply a yellow led comes on on the MB. i press the power button. all the fans spin up and i get two beeps and CPU ini is all that the led on my board displays. 5 to 10 seconds go by and it powers down and then back up, beep beep CPU ini again on and on until i turn it off. so i call tech support at the place where i got it and i get friendly man who has no idea what my MB is, even after i tell him. he says that my Cmos needs to be reset. great!!! i pop out the battery put it back in. pull out the ram and CPU, as he said,  and replace and hook everything back up. guess what happend?  :wall: the very same thing as before. on top of that there is no video just to clarify there was never any video. so i check all of my connections and nothing appears to be wrong with them. did i just get taken for my testing fee. or is there something that i am missing. i really don't want to have to send it all back but i am running out of ideas. thanks for any help

it never booted correctly.

i'm not sure of the bios. i honestly am not sure how to check since i don't get any video.
i do not have it over clocked and unless the "testers" over clocked it themselves it should not be.

Is on the motherboard  printed ECLIPSE ver1:1 than it is bios v1.1 or in some cases v1.2.
But i honestly think that it is not bios related.
Did you try without D-LED2 ?

For initial set-up (with D-LED2 removed), only use 1 stick in slot #2 (AO) Black. Check for boot-up. The other sticks can be added later (slots 4 (BO) Black, & 6 (CO) Black.

Sounds like a CPU Heatsink problem. Try taking the heatsink off the CPU and wiping it clean. Then re-apply some thermal paste and re-attach the heatsink to the CPU and motherboard again.
