I have reinstalled Windows 7 fresh with formatting HD
Now whenever I plug a memory card (even on the motherboard ports) in any of the USB ports I get the message
"The USB device can perform faster if you connect it to a High Speed USB 2.0 port"
I reread the book, rechecked the connections, under device manager I have 8 Intel ICH10 Family USB enhanced host controller and underneath them i have another set of 8 root hubs -
The transfer speed is definetly USB1 (under 14mb/s) (in other pc core2duo e6400 - windows 7 the rate was almost 20mb/s)
Anyone has a clue - there are no drivers and I don't want to touch the bios before getting some advice
Thanks guys - you've been extremely helpful before
