I can use one GTX 260 216 just fine. It's a new system and it came with 2 video cards. When I first tried my system when it arrived, with 2 cards in, I could hit the [del] key to enter bios but once in the keyboard would not work. I have tried both USB and PS/2 keyboards. When I try to go onto windows the system does nothing. I have used both video cards individually and in both pci-e slots and they work. But together bridged the system doesn't work.

Nvidia has recently released a driver that includes new X58 support; 'Enables SLI tech. on X58 based boards'. Version 180.48 R.D. 11-19-08

Edit: New Driver Version 181.20. Release Date January 8, 2009.

I have nvidia 180.48 drivers. the bios is 1.0 but supposedly this all worked before it was shipped. was thinking about upgrading bios. what's the safest way without a floppy?

Beware... Eclipse SLI from your current 1.0 BIOS:

SUCCESS

I downloaded the latest bios and installed using flashing tool (worked great, highly recommend), put in both video cards and the system is working.
