MSI Eclipse SLI no POST

Okay, so I've read around a little bit about this issue but it doesn't seem to have been solved yet. Here's the thing, it's happened to me 3 times.

First board, got it all put together, no POST. Fans spin up, lights come on, it runs everything full tilt for 10 seconds or so, and then shuts off. Endlessly loops this. RMA'd the board, got one back fast.

Second board I set CMOS date/time, start to set up JMicron RAID, the drive in SATA 9 isn't showing up at all. Reboot, see board # 1. I RMA this board and get number three (MSI even paid shipping both ways on #2)

I received the third board last week. Had it running for 5 or 6 days now, with one little hiccup. Every time I cold boot the board, CMOS data is gone.  I changed the battery first thing. Unplugged all but one HDD, removed the sound card. Changed the video card. Tried with one memory module (tried all three individually actually). There are no shorts to the case, it's an acrylic case. CPU was RMA'd before the first board to ensure that it wasn't a CPU issue. Now it has a new issue, see board # 1 above (again). I know that I've received a different board each time as each one coming back had a new serial number and the packing list said swapped.

Are the Eclipse SLI boards really this bad? Or do they just take a stack of old RMA boards and check to make sure they POST once before they send them out? Seriously, I've owned this board (or these three if you want to look at it that way) for a month and a half and I've got a total uptime of less than a week. Pretty sad if you ask me.

Have you checked for the possibility of a short of some kind between the MB and the case? Look for any MB mount stand offs that are out of place and don't line up with screw holes of the MB. Have you tried with the MB out of the case on a non conducting wood or cardboard surface? I know it's a pain to go through the trouble with liquid cooling to remove it all again but ensuring system functions properly before installing in the case is a good thing to do.

There are no shorts to the case, it's an acrylic case.

I checked for any errant standoffs, there are none. I have tried literally everything I can think of. Just for kicks, I tried it outside the case too, still nothing.

Have you tried to connect your PSU directly on the board without the Green Power Genie? The IN WIN PSU has some extra sensors on the 24pin connector to adjust voltage. Maybe there is a conflict? You could check it

I haven't used the green power genie at all. Just for kicks I put my 775 platform board back together, it runs perfect. I'm currently running my 1.65v memory at 1600mhz (dual channel though, the third stick is just sitting) with no problems. I got the MSI board back from RMA today, put it all together and it was still resetting CMOS every reboot. That is of course, until the fourth or fifth one when it started the reboot on powerup thing again. Seriously, 4 boards, none of which work properly. I don't know what else to try. I am getting very tired of having a $300 processor sitting on a shelf though...
