Is it possible to have 9GB ram on the Msi Eclipse Sli?

I have two kits:
1) Corsair Dominator (1GB x 3) DDR3 1600 TR3X3G1600C8D
2) Corsair Dominator (2GB x 3) DDR3 1600 TR3X6G1600C8D

They have same rev 2.1 and I use 7 64-bit

Can they work together? Will I loose the triple-channel? Does it worth?

thank u in advance

Do you use a 64bit operating system? And do you play 64bit games? If you don't use 64bit software, having that amount of memory won't make your games faster.

And your SSD doesn't care how much system memory you have, it won't perform any better.

If it works at all, they 'will' operate in triple channel. Not at all recommended as proper building procedure using two different kits like that even of the same brand. Please, other readers, don't jump in with a bunch of success stories as to virtues of mixing RAM. It is not an accepted normal building practice the forum wishes to cultivate.

As to performance, run bench tests 'prior' to the RAM change, & then run tests 'after' the change. Then you will have your answer if it was worth it or not.

...and to add to HU16E stated, we need to recommend and present solutions that work for the majority--not the exception.  Although many may have success mixing RAM, mixing is not successful the majority of the time.

Yes i am using Windwos7 64-Bit operating system....now what you suggest if i upgrade 6Gb to 9GB i feel and differance in speed or not?

Data processing speed?

For more faster performance in games and specialy with SSD
Quote from Stu: "And your SSD doesn't care how much system memory you have, it won't perform any better".

As for game performance, only way to tell will be to run tests, Crysis Bench Tool etc. with 6GB, & then with the 9GB. My results may not be typical, but when doing some testing with 12GB, I saw a 'decrease' in performance.

The boards manual does say it will support 4GB modules per slot, so I would say yes.

or its support 2000mhz also or only 1600?
You can put 2000Mhz or 2400Mhz sticks in it if you want, since they will usually always run at a lower speed than what they are rated, but the limitation is the CPU IMC & of course what the board will support.

Main Memory

? Supports six unbuffered DIMM of 1.5 Volt DDR3 800/1066/1333*/1600* (OC) DRAM, 24GB Max
- Supports 1Gb/ 2Gb/ 4Gb DRAM size
