Hello, first post here, I read all the rules and this topic should be legal.

I have recently purchased a MSI B760 board and while I am happy with it, since I am a complete newbie after watching a Gigabyte video regarding some settings activable through the BIOS I was wondering if there were some equivalents here, maybe by tweaking some commands you can achieve the same results?

For those who do not want to watch the video, I will summarize:

Max Turbo: Max Turbo allows Intel® 13th Gen. Core™ CPU to run at Maximum Turbo Boost speed.

Optimization: The Optimization mode enables Intel® 13th Gen. Core™ CPU to balance between high performance and low temperature.

Spec Enhance: The Spec Enhance mode enables Intel® 13th Gen. Core™ CPU to run at high performance under a lower temperature setting.

E-Core Disable: The E-Core™ Disable mode allocates CPU resources to P-core exclusively to boost its gaming performance, while diminishing the overall power consumption of processors.

Thank you

You can try Game boost for CPU overclocking and XMP for memory. Both of them applies preset profile based on your system configuration.

Not to be mean, but I bet they spent more time and energy producing that slick video presentation than they did on the BIOS settings it changes. You would be far better off by trying to learn the ropes yourself; it really isn’t too difficult. In fact, it probably takes about as much time to learn the basics as it does to finish the average FPS game. And it’s just as rewarding, or more so. Unfortunately, the B-series is more limiting in what you can do than the Z-series.

My first suggestion would be for you to post a detailed list of your entire system components, including Computer case model, case fan arrangement, CPU, CPU Cooler, RAM, Motherboard, Graphics, Storage, OS version, Monitor, etc. Include model numbers so they can be googled. That way, we can get a sense of the inherent physical limitations of your PC. You can only tune within, and up to, those limits.
