Hello! Just like the title said. My controller was working completely fine (except overly sensitive dpad). I stopped using it for few months and now the controller does not seem to change it's modes. Tried wireless and wired, reinstalling drivers, resetting controller didn't help either. All four lights blink like it's charging, upon holding the button for 3 seconds they blink faster. Any idea what could be the potential fix?

Hi arcionek,

It seems that your controller isn't connected.

While I very believe this might be the case, I already tried plugging my controller, even through wired. Actually doing that even right now. It is continuously making the same blinking pattern, probably indicating it is charging, however it doesn't seem to connect still. Although I had left the wireless dongle in thorughout the months, it seems to reinstall drivers just fine... So I don't really know what is going on with the controller and how could it be fixed.

So I guess in Device Manager nothing new (usually it's Xbox 360 Peripherals) will show up even after you trying to connect your controller (wireless and wired), right?
If so, you should raise a ticket for RMA.

Have you found the solution to the problem?
Not really... Only solution I found was to use my phone cable which worked often disconnecting, but noticed that it heavily ruined my charger end. In fact, yesterday it actually was completely unusable at this point ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wireless still a mystery though.
