MSI G272QPF E2 - Horizontal Lines and Flickering after 1 year

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share the "lovely" experience I'm having with my G272QPF E2. I’ve had it for just about a year and it’s already basically a paperweight.

I woke up to severe horizontal lines across the screen and the whole image just jitters and flickers like crazy. I’ve done the usual checks—swapped cables, tried different ports, the works. It’s definitely not my PC because the flickering happens even when the monitor isn't plugged into anything (you can see it on the "No Signal" logo and in the OSD menu).

I’ve tried dropping the refresh rate down to 85Hz and even 60Hz, but it’s still unusable.

Anyone else dealing with this on the E2 series? Is there any actual fix or is this just standard MSI quality control?

Hi, Based on your description, you have already tried multiple troubleshooting steps for cross-checks, but the issue still persists. It appears that the panel may be defective and might require an RMA. Please contact MSI or the retailer where you purchased the monitor to request repair assistance.

I just got this to mine ... a G272QPF monitor, i just sent a request to the support
i can't see your vidéo, but your description seem's fit to mine, multiple straight line at the bottom of the screen, i can see comments on amazon which a describing the same thing after around 2 years ...
