MSI gaming headset issue, maybe?

I just got the MSI DS502 gaming headset and having an issue, I figured I'd ask my question to the community first as it might just be something simple..

I am only getting sound out of the left ear-piece except when I have Bass turned on, then I get sound out of the right earpiece but quite quietly; I have to turn the level up to 100 in properties to hear it properly. 

Now, I have the headset plugged into a USB hub. Is it possible that this is what is causing the problem? Unfortunately the actual USB ports I have on the case are physically damaged, and I have the USB hub plugged into a USB3.0 port. If this seems unlikely to be the case, I'll contact Support or something

Hi,

The cause of the problem could be the audio source or the USB hub
Does the USB hub have stereo sound adapter?.
A mono device will only output sound to the left side.

Try testing the headset on another device.
