Hi recently built a new pc.
Msi GD65 gaming (bios updated to 1AO)
i7 4790k
8GB corsair vengance
msi Gtx 970
win 7 64 home edition

Ok build went smooth had retailer update bios a while back to 1AO as i knew id go for the 4790k, everything is running great until i need a restart and the system goes through the normal shutting down then just hangs there.Reset switch won't work i have to actualy power off the system then reboot,But if i shutdown the system instead of restart everything is ok and boots normaly. Now i can get by just using the shutdown method but obviously something is not right.
I have double and triple checked cables and front panel connectors as i am using the little connector that comes with  the mb for the front panel cables.

Any thoughts tx in advance :bonk:

tell full board ID "Msi GD65 gaming" is not enough

(bios updated to 1AO)
tell full BIOS ID, format: Exxxxyyy.zzz
look for it in BIOS Setup

oki, yes that it is

updater your BIOS to the latest version 1.B:
http://www.msi.com/support/mb/Z87-GD65-GAMING.html#down-bios

When flashing use M-Flash BIOS+ME update
when flash is done, do a >>Clear CMOS Guide<< with power cord removed

then retest
