I have a brand new MSI GE76 Raider 12U. I get sudden crashes whenever I open a game or I'm playing it (See attachments), the laptop gets blocked and I have to force the shutdown.
I've tried with DRM Fix Tool provided by MSI and I click 'Park' before running any game. Still crashes. The only thing I came up with is that I'm running Windows 11 and it might not be ready for that yet.
I've retrieved this from Event Viewer: 'Performance power management features on processor 19 in group 0 are disabled due to a firmware problem. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware.'
Did anyone run into the same problem and solved it? I'm pretty sure it'd be related to software, I don't want to deal with hardware warranty repairs...
Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem, gonna try:

1Better powersupply
2Update BIOS
3Reinstall Nvidia drivers
4Clean install windows

In that order, after that idk what to do, gonna contact MSI then

I updated the Bios and it seems to be working now, also using the DRM fix tool. Didn't have any crash since then although i feel it'd come in any moment. I'll keep the thread up to date as this shouldn't be happening in such a expensive device. BTW, I contacted MSI, they told me to send it to warranty but I want to be 100% sure that is not a software problem but hardware, although I don't think it is hardware related (fortunately). Keep in touch.

Sweet! I haven't gotten around to it yet, also i haven't heard about the DRM fix tool but I'm gonna start with the BIOS and then see! I'll let you know how it goes

I was about to downgrade to Win10 but after updating BIOS and using this tool each time I play a game, it's not crashing, at least by now. I guess it's related to Intel dealing with processor issues, keep all drivers up to date and see how it goes. I'll report any further crash I find.

So it started to crasch/freeze normally without DRM and started to bluescreen crash with that fix, so i just returned it, maybe a hardware problem.

Hey! Having a very similar issue. Out of curiosity, where did you buy the laptop from? Was it from the Amazon seller "Happy Ranger"?
No, I bought from a seller call Allzone. Not sure about their customer service, but very good prices and so far so good. I solved my crashing problem updating the BIOS. It was amazingly solved and I've never had the problem anymore. Please tell me if that works for you, otherwise I can try to help you.

Currently running BIOS E17K4IMS.209 and having the same problem again and again. I gonna do a rollback as the previous version worked with no problem at all.
My guess is that is has to do with the temperature management of the system. Any further ideas on this?
