Hello.

I recently purchased a MSI GE76 and have been very happy so far. But the last week I've started to experience some bugs with the graphics. Not quite sure what causes it and that's why I've come here.

Suddenly graphics in videos etc gets this weird glare/shimmer red blue green. If I restart the computer it goes away.

I tried taking a screenshot thinking it would work, but after restart the colors are back to normal.

I tried using the MSI center about graphics drivers but it didn't download the latest ones so I downloaded Geforce Experience which gave me new drivers. Do you think this could be the problem?

wipe the NVIDIA driver using DDU in safe mode and then install the Latest NVIDIA driver again to make sure your driver is not Bugging out on you. if it continues after you have done that then its usually the GPU's VRAM is Faulty so give DDU a try in safe mode and see if it stops happening.

Can I download the drivers through Geforce Experience or Nvidia site or should I use MSI center?

Allready have 4.4.8. But I don't think my issues has anything to do with these. I have used DDU and done a fresh install of drivers and will see if this helps.

Problem still persists. I've attached some photos from my camera. You can clearly see weird outlines on videos etc. The other photo is after I restart the pc at the exact same timestamp in the video. IMG_20211108_1919132.jpgIMG_20211108_1922171.jpg

I have done what you suggested, fresh install of drivers after running DDU. So the next item on the list is faulty VRAM?

possible try others tests "select is above on page from link" try find DEMO where is visible your problem ?

//////////////////////////////////////////////////
display problems - EC reset
//edit ,.,steps
EC reset ,.no AC / fully shutdown ,,.,.small hole on back-cover - 30s
after this plug AC ,.,.wait 5min .,,.run system

you must see different boot time or blinking diodes
"best is disable wifi before" and see this diode in reset

identical boot - no reset

I would think the problem would be visible on all the tests when the problem occurs. It is random and suddenly happens.
It goes away if I restart computer.
I'm not quite sure what triggers it yet.

Hello again.
Problem still persists and appears at random when scrolling through facebook or other pages. I can't say that I have noticed it being triggered elsewhere.

I try to run the OCCT tests for 3d and VRAM when the fault has occured but I am unable to find anything.

Any other ideas to try out?

Difficult so send it for repairs when I can't really locate what is wrong.
