MSI GE76 wake up options not found

Hello everyone,

I am new here, but have had several MSI laptops over the years, including a couple of GE60 and GE70... I recently bought a GE76 and plan on using 2 monitors instead of using 1 monitor and the laptop screen, for this I need an option to turn on the laptop without pressing the power button, any assistance, advise or guide will be very helpful, thank you very much!

I don't recall MSI providing those options, but i guess you can try wake on LAN?

Same here. I have to open the lid and press the power button to wake up my GE76. Neither the USB mouse or Keyboard do anything. Just wrote a support ticket, just in case.

According to a couple of things I found online, this seems to be quite a common problem with modern Intel 11th gen plus gaming notebooks since old power management have largely been depreciated. Some notebooks do allow you to set a key on the keyboard to power up a computer. The option is in the bios but as far as I know MSI doesn't support it.

Did you ever find a solution?
