Hi All,
I'm experiencing intermittent freezing with my GF-63 8RC laptop. The screen is frozen with no mouse or keyboard input. Cycling power is the only way to reset. I've tried Restoro several times but no success. Memory (24Gb) checks out OK, and OpenHardware Monitor shows temps within limits. I've attached yesterday's Event Viewer log file hoping that someone can decipher my issue. Cheers, B

I don't know if this applies to MSI as well, but my Asus laptop started doing that about 3 days ago, it appears that the most recent Win10 update may be the culprit. I haven't experienced it with my MSI (different issue with this)

Have you updated the latest bios and ec firmware?
Clean install the latest graphics driver on msi website with ddu.
If the problem occurs in Chrome or other browsers, try to turn off hardware acceleration.
And try to clean boot the system to check if there is software conflict.
If the problem still remains, restore default factory settings by pressing f3 during boot-up.

Hi Crazydonkey,
I have updated to the latest Bios and also updated the Intel & Geforce GPU drivers from their sites. What is DDU?
The last versions on MSI site are 2018.
The laptop had been factory default reset when I purchased it.
The freezing usually occurs when not active, but not always in Sleep mode. I can run XPlane 11 , which is highly intensive of CPU, GPU and RAM & experience no freezing over hours of flying.
It's weird how I can walk away from the computer for some random time& come back to find it in a totally frozen state. Win10 has all the latest updates including the Feature pack.
Cheers,B
