MSI GF75 12VF Thin display port with usb-c not working

Hi all,
I hope someone can help me with this issue I have.
I started buying an HDMI cable to display my monitor. Everything worked fine until I started experiencing lagg (mostly delays) when I am playing any games.
It's start getting worst when I listen to spotify, use discord or open a web browser.

I tough then it might be something with the HDMI cable that is connected directly to the integrated graphic card.
Then I just bought an display port to USB-C cable to plug in my laptop, but this does not work either apparently. Nothing is showing on the screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need USC-C DP to Displayport, not the other way around
As to the laggy please update Drivers to latest and update your System BIOS
And it still won't work you Laptopt dose does not have USB-C+DP out only HDMI out
