Hi guys,
i just bought a MSI GM41 Lightweight Wireless mouse and i had a little problem with the customization
these past 2 days i've been struggling with installing and uninstalling both msi center and msi dragon center just to make it work but still stuck with this problem
right now i'm able to customize the mouse using msi center in wired mode, and the firmware also says it's Version 0088
but everytime i tried to open the gaming gear when using it wireless, it keep saying that the dongle firmware is version 0083 and requires fiwmware update
i tried multiple times upgrading and it just keep repeating again and again without any success,

The mouse works fine both wired and wireless, but it's just a shame that i need to plug the mouse when i just want to peek at my current customization

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks !

how did you update the mouse FW, in wireless mode or wired mode?

both dongle and mouse fw need to update to the latest version, maybe the dongle fw is not the latest version yet.
when you update the firmware in wired mode, you're updating mouse FW. in wireless mode you're updating dongle fw.

Yes, that's what I'm saying.
It ask for firmware update to 0.88 every time i open msi center in wireless mode. But when it finishes, it keep reverting back to 0.83 and ask for firmware update again and again

Any cure for the problem yet? Does anyone suffers from the mouse not tracking for a second then went back to normal, but it happens frequently?

Sounds like signal interference, guess you are using wireless mode? Have you tried using wired mode?
