A little overview for someone who doesn't know this little beast
i7 6700hq processor
gtx 1060 6gb
cooler boost trinity sytem
steel series keyboard with three zones lighting
thunderbolt 3 wit 400gbps data transfer

On to my unboxing.

I bought this laptop from amazon.com, and it costs $1450. It came with only a 1tb hard drive tho. The package was like a fortress. There was a big Amazon box on the outside, and inside that another box from Msi. Inside a third box, which is the black product box you can see from below. The box looks very nice, unlike other laptop boxes like an acer one I bought 6 months ago, with only a single cardboard box, and foam surrounding the laptop. The ac adapter is in a container next to the laptop. The paper works are under the laptop in small flaps. Overall the packaging was class. I am not a fan for the massive ac adapter, it is way too big compare to its competitors, the Razor blade and the Aero 14 and 15 from gigabyte.

Onto the laptop itself, it looks soo nice. The brushed aluminum looks nice, tho it is a massive fingerprint magnet. You can probably see it in the photos. There is however a dent right underneath the msi logo, which I am sure wasn't my fault. Hopefully it doesn't happen to you guys. Powering on the laptop and booting it took a looooong time. An hour and half actually. I planned to swap out the hard drive anyway, after the swap it is much better, booting up is around 8 seconds. A thing to note, the back cover is quite hard to open, there are plastic clips on the sides of the cover, and I broke a few of them. It annoys me a lot, so be careful when opening the back cover.

The laptop has a lot of bloatware, like Norton (seriously), and others that I've never heard of. Clearing them released a whole 1gb of storage and 300mb of memory. Onto gaming performance, the common interpretation of thin laptops are definitely going to be burning hot, and throttle after a while, is not true on this laptop. The cooler boost trinity is very effective. about the actual gaming performance on games like forza and r6 and pubg, please look at my post on pc games opinion sharing.

I got GS73VR model as your SPEC. with 120Hz/5ms display, besides of the performance and sound, the 120Hz display is really outstanding with more vivid colors!

GS63 with GTX 1060 can play Assassin's Creed Origin with high level graphics setting and play smooth during every story chapters.  To play PUBG also shows great and smooth performance with mid-high visual settings. Good to have this machine and have fun!

Despite its beefy hardware, the MSI GS63VR is relatively light, quiet and cool.

Although there comes GS65 for gold cut edge design, I still love GS63 Stealth and GS73 Stealth more with 120Hz display!

I'm pretty impressed with the GS63VR.
The main highlights are the keyboard, GPU and the screen.

Such powerful specs in a slim laptop is a marvel! How does the keyboard feel?
