Hi, so I'm having troubles connecting with the Thunderbolt 4 connection. I am trying to connect a Thunderbolt 4 PCIe Adapter with a PCIe card to the Laptop and it doesn't seem to want to connect to it. Any help is appreciated. Cheers

Try to do cross-checking, plug in another USB-C port, plug the adapter into another laptop, or use another cable, etc.
Would a normal USB flash drive be detected with this port?

I plugged in a ps5 controller and it detected it without any issues

Sounds as if the USB cable is not rated for sufficient power AND data.

I had issues with my Left usb-c port stop working. Plugged in a memory stick. No detection. Later found my stick was fried so bought a diagnostic tester and I the Vbus on port was a constant 16V when AC adaptor plugged (12V on battery). Tried EC/BIOS reset but didnt make difference. I suspect the CMOS chip which drives the voltage on the VBus is pooped. So be careful what you plug into a non-working port!
