MSI GS75 Stealth temperature problems

I have just bought recently a MSI GS75 Stealth 10 SE which comes with NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2060 and Intel® Core™ i7-10750H, but I am having problems with temperature.

While playing CS Go, which I guess is not a really huge game, temperatures reach up to 97 Celsius Degrees. This is on Extreme Performance mode using MSI dragon center, similar temperatures are for the balanced mode as well. Temperatures are lower only on silent mode, but on silent mode FPS drops, and this has a 240 Hz screen.

I tried also in GTA V, for a CPU core it reached even 98 Celsius in that case.

These temperatures seem really high for me for such a high-end gaming laptop.

During these high temperatures also keyboard behaves strangely, as you can see below not all lights are working during high temperatures:

I searched on google, and people suggested to use Throttle-stop to under-volt the CPU, but it seems as of 2020 this is not possible anymore.

Anyone with the same problems? Any potential solution? Or I have to return it because it seems like a problem with my laptop only?

Does FPS drop or stutter occur when CPU goes to 97 degrees?
If there is no performance problem, as 97 degrees is just a peak value, I think you don't need to worry about it.
If there your laptop has a problem, you may encounter stutter or even a force shutdown.
Open Cooler Boost to cool down the CPU if you still have a concern.

It does not seem to be any stutter, now it even reached 98 degrees while playing GTA. I am worried that in long term it will cause problems to the laptop with CPU or other parts, because everywhere I read, it says that the temperature should be around 85 Degrees. I would be happy with a peak of 90 degrees, but 98 degrees seems really much.

Is it fast enough? You can put the processor max to for instance 99% in the advanced power settings so it disables turbo boost.

If you still have a concern about the temperature, you can refer to the video to undervolt the CPU.

I also have the same laptop and also having the temperature problem. Lately laptop starts shutting itself after 5-10 mins of gameplay. (CS:GO) Also using my laptop in extreme performance mode and gaming mode on. Cooler boost is off. However I dont think a high level gaming laptop should shut itself without cooler boost only in 5-10 minutes. Also when I first bought this laptop I did not see this issue for 3 months while using it with the same settings. I sent my laptop back to service for this issue 2 times. They mentioned like they changed the motherboard. But when I receive it back the problem is still exists. Did you able to solve your problem ? If yes can you please let me know how ?

It may be a critical bug. I suggest you raise a web ticket to report the problem to MSI directly.

This is what helped for me i set it back to 95% with no problems and temperature from 95 degrees celsius back to 65 degrees celsius. Still no problems with speed.
