Hi, hopefully you can help me with this one as its been driving me crazy for the last week and im happy to throw a donation your way - although the current link doesnt seem to work but if you send me the updated/correct link ill be happy to donate.
Anyway, the issue im having is that my GTX880m seems to install drivers fine, shows in device manager as "This device is working properly" after drivers installed but on reboot changes to shows "error code 43 / device has been stopped". The card seems to refuse install/run properly no matter what i try and the laptop will only utilise the integrated graphics.
Ive tried different variations of drivers, different Win10/Win11 OS versions, clean OS installs to in place upgrades (from the base 8.1 install) but nothing seems to make a difference, the result seems to be the same.
The laptop info is as follows:
GT60 2PE Dominator Pro 3k
BIOS Version: E16F4IMS.50T
BIOS Release Date: 2014/02/12
EC Version: 16F4EMS1 Ver5.17, 12/04/2014
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4810MQ CPU @ 2.80GHz
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX880M, 8192 MB
VBIOS Version: 80.04.f7.00.07,8388608

Ive seen so many people with the same/similar issue that im hopeful its a BIOS or VBIOS issue stopping the card from running properly.
