Review:
I was happy with my first msi laptop, the MSI PE70 2QE, so i decided to buy another msi laptop.
This MSI GT72VR 7RE, was a safe bet, really good temperatures, low noise, the fans are smooth.
Visually, the pictures and videos i saw online didn't capture my attention, but with the laptop on my hands the situation was different, its a big laptop, but i love the design and the logo on its back.
Nice build quality.
The screen is amazing,120hz 5ms G-Sync and theres a 3D option as well.
Lets make some tests on this beast:
Temperatures after playing for a few hours (room temperature 8/12 degrees, notebook base cooler fan off ):
MB 28
CPU 58
GPU 66
SSD 28
Temperatures after playing a few hours (room temperature 25/30 degrees, notebook base cooler fan off):
MB 28
CPU 65
GPU 70
SSD 35
3D Mark Firestrike 1.1 (settings 3DMark default, default laptop clocks, G-Sync turned off):
3DMark Score 13682
Graphics Score 17217
Physics Score 10863
Combined Score 6363
Graphics Test 1 81.46 fps
Graphics Test 2 69.25 fps
Physics Test 34.49 fps
Combined Test 29.6 fps

Great performance by 1070 GTX.
As you can see nice temperatures, and Intel Turbo Boost is working good, clock speeds between 3.6ghz and 3.8ghz.
Conclusion,
+ Great performance, low noise, very good temperatures
+ Build quality good, nice design, keyboard RGB steelseries
+ Good price
+ Screen 120hz 5ms G-Sync
+ GPU MXM (you can upgrade the gpu)
+ Great sound
- Weight (but its needed to get good temperatures)
- No Thundervolt 3
- No option to choose colour, only black avaliable
Sugestion:
Take off cd drive and put nice good fans with better cooling on the next version
I give 9/10 and seal of approval !
P.S
