MSI GT77 Ubuntu installation error: out of memory

Hi!
Trying to install ubuntu (tried both 22.10 and 22.04) on new notebook GT77 with 64gb of ram..
And getting that error.
tried so far: (looks like similar problem https://askubuntu.com/questions/1414770/msi-gt77-128g-memory-can-not-install-ubuntu-22-0420-04 )
- disabling fast boot, quiet boot(advanced bios) and secure boot.
nothing of that helps.

The screen just shows:
error: out of memory

after clicking any button notebook freezes, only poweroff button can shutdown the notebook.

in 22.10 it shows a bit more errors after clicking any button like: (see screenshot)


Any ideas?

Well if running windows fine and without any issues, there might be an OS problem.
 
yes, it looks like specific grub&ubuntu problem but appears on this PC :/ so I thought maybe there are someone facing same issue, or someone who successfully installed ubuntu in dual boot mode.
 
Not sure if you are still having this issue?
I've been battling a similar problem.. I think this is a general problem with Grub and large amounts of RAM. There is a forum somewhere about it.
I managed to get around the issue by selecting a value in the Max TOLUD setting within BIOS. It was set to "Dynamic" by default but selecting anything else (I used 2GB) seemed to make the installers work (was having problems with 20.04.1 and 20.04.5 and 20.10 and Zorin 16.4 which is built on 20.04.1).
Max TOLUX setting is in BIOS
need the avanced BIOS settings Ctrl+Shift+Alt+F2
then
Advanced -> System Agent -> Memory Config -> Max TOLUD
change from Dynamic to 2GB or something or nothing
