ok so i got a msi gt83vr and haven't had any issues but one

after i wake up and power on the notebook, all plugged in and all. when i start gaming or when i run a few programs. the laptop will instantly go black screen and ill see the msi boot logo. like a desktop being unplugged and plugged back in really quickly kinda thing.

however this issue only occurs once, and after the incident occurs it doesn't happen until i power off the laptop and use later on.

This happens even when i tried different outlets
happened even when i first got the laptop, no extra programs but steam
video drivers are latest for the 1080. i even tried clean install

I dont know if this is an issue only i am experiencing or others are as well. but it gets aggravating when i have to wait for that reset surge to happen before i can get into a serious game

Use [DDU] to remove the Nvidia driver.
http://www.msi.com/faq/notebook-2110

After that, download/reinstall Nvidia VGA drivers from following MSI website.

Besides, maybe you could export the whole system information by latest Help Desk and post that info in here. Let forum guys to help you to check the system configuration and software environment.

Could you just try to use notebook from a battery. Will it reboot?
Seems like hardware problem

there has to be a fix for this, there is literally no other problem

gaming smooth, everything else

just this initial power off then reboot in the morning

I would recommend restoring the system to factory default and check the problem is still happening or not.
