I purchased this GTX 1660 Super Gaming X via Amazon October of last year. I have been using the card, without overclocking (no need with the games I play, Mostly MMORPGs), and keeping temps cool. About two months ago the video card started doing something odd. I have my Nvidia control panel set to 'Use Nvidia Settings' . I have adjusted the; brightness, contrast and color saturation to my preferences. The 'Other Applications Control Settings' appears very bright and washed out.
What happens:
I am sitting; playing a game, surfing the web, doing nothing and al the sudden the screen blinks (sometimes twice) and the color settings go to the bright washed out settings. I go to Nvidia Control Panel and sure enough the settings in 'Adjust Desktop Color Settings' HAS CHANGED... to the 'Other Applications...'.
I have; installed newest drivers, removed all older drivers and settings (with the app) and did a new install of the latest drivers.
It still happens.
This is VERY frustrating... and I really do not want to be without my gaming computer for weeks while MSI decides what/if they are going to do ANYTHING to help me (once mail the card to them, that is)./
.
Has anyone run across this problem... and perhaps found a solution?

UPDATE - I just discovered that when the video card resets the color settings? It ALSO resets my G-Sync setting, too! So, when I go into Nvidia Control Panel, after the screen blinks and gets really washed out, my G-Sync settings it turned OFF from ON!
Any thoughts???

Have you set it to full color range?
