Hi there! I'm planning on buying the MSI Gugnir 100 case and from what I've read up online, the controller for the RGB lighting of the case has a connector to the motherboard via a J RAINBOW connector. My current motherboard (ASUS H110) doesn't have this connector so I'm wondering if the RGB will even be powered up and could still be controlled without connecting to the motherboard? I understand the case itself can control the lighting using the reset button that doubles as a controller for cycling the lighting styles. Do I need the J RAINBOW to make the RGB work? I honestly really just want the stock lighting so I don't mind being able to customize the RGB via mystic light for now. Thank you in advanced!

You need a controller for addressable (5v, 3-pin) RGB LEDs for full control (like mainboards with JRainbow have). If your low-end mainboard does not offer such a controller you can only use the effects inluded in the 8-in1 controller hub coming with the case and being selected with the case's LED switch. You can not sync or control lEDs with software like you could with a supported mainboard with an own controller. so LEDs would work at all with limited control options.
