I've download  the update and put it on my usb stick. Then i boot from it, then it says bootmgr is missing. The reason why i want to update is because my keyboard randomly stops working. Please help me, because i need it for school, so i cant really send it back...

Enter in BIOS and reverse HDD boot priority to ensure that you are booting from the right storage

Then i boot from it, then it says bootmgr is missing.
You are booting from the wrong drive or your USB key is NTFS formatted and not bootable.

go ahead then, after booting from the usb key, type "flash" {without quotes and press ENTER}  and wait to finish.
Once done, do EC Reset ==> https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=112416.0
