So I upgraded the bios of my MSI H110M eco motherboard to the latest available version ( 7994v2D ) in an attempt to install Windows 11. After the bios upgrade, the onboard network adapter (an Intel I219V) is no longer working - not in Windows 11 but also not in Windows 10. I get a 'failed to start device' error. If I look at the network adapter properties, it lists the MAC address as FF-FF-FF-FF-FF-FF. So probably something went wrong with the bios upgrade. Re-flashing with the same bios didn't help. Any advice / help?

Try Right click on the adapter in Device manager and uninstall this device and restart PC
You can also go in to bios and Disable network adapter and save settings boot to windows and then restart pc and go back to bios enable network and see if this forces a mac address reset

Also try this driver package

WIll see if @Svet can help with this.
I think they may have a solution for this problem.

Hello, yesterday for some reason the wired internet on three of my PCs stopped working. All computers have MSI motherboards: H310M Pro-M2 (MS-7B28) Serial number I616750765 and H110M ECO (MS-7994) Serial number H616752951. The problem determination shows that the internet cable is not connected but the cable with the Asus computer works fine.
Please I need help.
