ust built my pc got it working with onboard grapics when i plug the dvi into the graphics card i get no display the HDD has a fresh install of windows 7 i haven't installed any drivers for the mobo or the GPU, im also using a fairly old VGA monitor and im using a VGA TO DVI connector.

This card has to be compatible with this board right? it can't be that issue?

Yes both are compatible.
What is your power supply?
Also did you try any different cable for video between GPU and TV/monitor? Maybe try different monitor too.

Hello ah, so the card and the MoBo are compatible? thats great!

PSU is Corsair CX750M 750W ATX 80+ Bronze PC Power Supply

also i will try a newer monitor that just has a DVI wire rather than using a converter
