Hi,

I purchased my motherboard (x570 tomahawk) last year. This January it was not turning on, I sent the board for RMA. The board returned to me from RMA was physically damaged and I immediately contacted MSI India regarding this. They told me to send them the board again (at my expense) and then they will send the replacement. However, it's been more than 2 weeks, I have not received my board. Morever, MSI India, isn't replying to my emails for 5 days. This whole RMA thing has been going on for moreover a month now, MSI India team is not replying at all and have taken my motherboard.

Can anyone please tell me how to proceed further? Can I raise this complaint to another higher channel than MSI India?

Update: As always, MSI Assistant has proven to be useless.

This type of crap is gonna make me throw my MSI gpu out my window. Even the mods here suspended me for a week for saying my opinion and giving a fixing tip which I warned that only do this when out of options but beware don't do this if you don't know what you are doing. I talked about the oven method to repair GPUs.

Yes lets be abusive in your messages to MSI all caps that will just get you ignored completely try being nice,

You won't get the assistance you want in teh forums it is not for that and yes you can try ands open a ticket with MSI global but I will tell you know if you don't keep it civil it will get bounced.

The staff you are talking to have nothing to do with what happened yet you are taking it out on them.

I have not been abusive to the support, I initiated the conversation with civility and asked him to act on my issue. Moreover, I don't even want him to file a grievance report or any issue; I just wanted another email, so I can forward my previous emails. However, as it is pretty evident from the screenshot, he was giving me the template reply i.e. he wasn't even trying to understand or reason about the situation. I then did the following -:

- Write sentences in CAPS, maybe the guy doesn't know how to read small case letters or maybe forgot his glasses at home (/s)
- Asked whether he is blind or not because I wrote 3-4 paragraphs regarding the situation and even attached pic of the email thread and he was giving me the same template response.
- Asked him, whether he is a bot or not, because honestly today's bot are more interactive than this dumb fellow

Did I act brashly at the end of the chat?
Yes, I did. Why? Because maybe I was tired of this bullshit where you don't get replies for your legit RMA, your workstation PC is down for more than a month and on top of that service support kept you hanging for more than one week after stating that I would get my replacement in 2 days.
And then the MSI Assistant, whose job is to assist, don't wanna do his job properly and without understanding the whole situation gave me a template reply repeatedly.

> You won't get the assistance you want in teh forums it is not for that and yes you can try ands open a ticket with MSI global but I will tell you know if you don't keep it civil it will get bounced.
Oh don't worry about assistance, I didn't open this thread for assistance. Again, pay attention to the title, it's "MSI INDIA is harassing me" not "MSI INDIA is harassing me, please help with my RMA".
I created this thread to share the experience I am going through MSI India for my legit service. I bought the board for 350$ and then it kicked the bucked in a year and how MSI India service is utter incompetent in all this.

Moreover, if I don't get the board soon enough, I am gonna give them a legal notice, so please Dear Mod, don't you worry about the assistance at all. I am fully capable of handling that on my own.

> The staff you are talking to have nothing to do with what happened yet you are taking it out on them.
Agreed and hence I was civil in my conversation at the beginning. I only start talking nonsense when he was being bluntly ignorant and giving me the template replies. And after 1-2 min of good research, I found out that he is an Indian and works for MSI. So it makes sense why he is so incompetent like MSI India. It was no surprise.

And lastly commenting on my behaviour - I initiated one more support request after this one. I was connected to some "John Eric" fellow. He was nice and supportive and filed a request on my behalf. And even gave me a customer care telephone number to further escalate my issue.
Then I connected to the customer care support and explained my situation to him, he asked all the relevant details and assured me that it will be taken care of. Both guys were nice and civil and hence I was also very civil too. They were not Indians as well i.e. they don't work under MSI India, hence they were competent at their job.

P.S. Before you accuse me of being Racist, I am an Indian and I am not highlighting "Indian" above for bias on the contrary it proves that those folks work under MSI India and it is one of the most inefficient and incompetent teams I ever had to deal with.
And maaaaaybbbbbeee instead of bashing your customer, you ensure that your support centre (India) still works and is not filled with people who can't even communicate.
