MSI MAG 274QP On/Off

Just got this monitor in, plugged it all in, and the indicator light comes on for 5 or so seconds, enough for my computer to register it, then it turns off again. Doesn't seem to go to 'sleep' just straight up off and my computer no longer recognizes it. I've read that the drivers may need to be updated but how do I update them if it only powers on/connects for a couple of seconds. My old monitor was working fine so I know its not on the computer side. I've tried all three ports, HDMI 1 & 2 and DisplayPort.

Anyone else have this issue?

You shouldn't need to install any drivers.
Quite possibly it's dead on arrival (DOA). Contact the store and ask for replacement.
