Hi,
I bought this PSU back in october for my first PC build and a week ago it started making this annoying noise. Yesterday, it got extremely loud to the point it genuinely scared me had to turn the PC off entirely so I wont use it right now. It is the PSU making this sound and I have added a recording of the noise which is minimal but does get louder. What is going on here?

that Noise sounds like the bearings in the Fan have Given up. I would RMA the PSU to get it Replaced.

Thanks, do you know how I go about doing this? I got it from Amazon and I live in the UK. The only way to contact in this country seems to be by email so I have done that.

Typically in the UK its the Shop / Reseller you got it from that is Responsible for performing a RMA for you.

How did you get on with the RMA? Did you get a refund or replacement from Amazon, or did MSI end up dealing with it?

Warranty and customer service is important. As example, with Corsair you can return with free postage provided by Corsair and return postage of the replacement product is free. Seasonic you can also return with free postage provided by Seasonic and return postage of the replacement product is free.
