MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk MAX Wifi Ethernet port not working

So yesterday my Ethernet port stopped working from nothing.

I installed a new PC build, and everything was working properly. After drivers installation, and windows updates, I noticed that my Ethernet connection was capped at 100 MBs (it's a 1000 connection), and after some time no Ethernet connection at all.

I thought it was the cable, but it doesn't seem to be, as other devices work fine. I can also see the devide in the device manager, with no errors, and formating didn't solve the issue either. I'm afraid the issue may be the board itself, but was trying to check if someone could help as I need the PC for work.

Hi bro, I have the same motherboard. When built my PC i was mostly using Wifi. When i started setting up my network for VR streaming. For few days i have been pulling my hair thinking my router ports failed, while finally, i was able isolate the issue to motherboards faulty ethernet port.

Have you tried to turn off PC and clear CMOS?
Does the light on the Ethernet port blink when ethernet cable is connected?
