Hello i've purchased this prebuild desktop. everything is perfect exept the wifi. ive 2 pc at home, the otherone works fine but this one struggles with the wifi connection.
for example it always connect with the 2,4ghz connection and not with the 5ghz one, also after i've manually chose the 5ghz preference inside the device manager, ive tried to update the drivers but nothing works.
i've always ping spikes from normal 22ms to 3000 for 2 second and back to normal every 4 min. every one can help me? or i need to buy a Wifi card PCIe for the motherboard? :(
thanks in advice!!

1. Please refer manual on page 9 and install antenna on Wi-Fi Antenna Connector (Item 15).

2. I am suggest buying USB Wifi card if you wanted but not PCIe Wifi card.

Hello! Thank you in advice, i‘ve mounted the Antenne in the Right Mode already, this ping Spikes are realöy frustrating. So there is no Solution for them? and why you Not suggest a pci express one? Also if I disable the original from the device Manager?

for example it always connect with the 2,4ghz connection and not with the 5ghz one

What router you use?
What's its current Wi-Fi config in there?
Does your 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks has the same name or each one has own?
Have you disabled "Smart connect" if your router support it? [Enable Smart Connect] => [Disabled]

I use a Fritzbox7530 but for sure is not an Internet Problem because I have another Desktop pc on the Same Desk with an integrated wifi and work perfectly fine. I have already renamed the 2 band. But still have high ping Spike and really Bad Download Speed. The pc is brand new but I think is just a Bad m2 wifi Card

Make it to connect to proper band, etc. not 2.4GHz,
and then check how it is.

I needed to unable the 2.4 ghz band from the device Manager before renaming the router‘s band, but Still have ping Spikes like: starting with 20 ms and after 2 min suddently reach 100 for a pair of sec and back to normal, and this Happens ciclically :(

I'm not sure what you are saying.
And I still didn't get answer to what I've asked:
And have you able to connect to 5GHz?

--------

The pc is brand new but I think is just a Bad m2 wifi Card

Could be, but there could be many reasons for the issue.
If you don't want to troubleshoot it further, then try a different Wi-Fi card.

? and why you Not suggest a pci express one?

USB version would have better compatibility. [along with own antenna]
Else if you going to install internal one,
make sure to match one of the QVL list:

oh sorry i‘ve forgot to answer that question, but yes i‘m connected with the 5ghz but i‘ve Blocked the 2.4ghz or the wifi Card will Always try to Connect to that band and not the 5 one. I can throubleshoot more because the pc is new and it’s annoying that it has problems like this. I thought the network cards well were quite compatible with every PCIe, it is really necessary to take in the QVL lists? Thank you so much for Your patiece

If each band has own name Id this should not happens, other reason is that maybe your Windows still remembered your old Wi-Fi 2.4GHz connection from the before.
To fix this, right click on the 2.4GHz band that will be listed and select "Forget".
By that way it should not connect automatically anymore to the older remembered connections,
if the Wi-Fi settings are correctly setup on your router.

Nope, fitting in the slot doesn't guarantee that will works.

Other with same or similar specs also may works even if it's not listed in there,
but there is no guarantees that will works.
The only guaranteed that should works for sure are the one in the QVL list.

And this is not the case if you use external USB adapter.

Can you post the results from 5GHz band?
At what Mbps the connection is established and at which channel?
Can you also show the router settings for 5GHz band too?

Ok ive done that, i've deleted the 2.4ghz band from the list now i this the pc will not lose the 5ghz band to change with the 2,4

but i know the USB adapter have problems when you use them for Online Gaming, have not Ping or connection issues?

sorry for the quality of the images :( the white one is my secondary desktop and goes at 190mb download speed, mine the MSI infinite is the one with black screen and goes at around 50mb both of them goes at 48 upload speed. i've changed the router to day with a FritzBox 5530, i dont know with setting of the router you need, maybe the one i've attacked?

All looks great at black connection screenshot.

What is your declared ISP speed?

Do test here:
and check what speed you will get in there and post screenshot (of whole screen, not just the speed)

If you still have low speed in there,
then you probably have some software installed (with traffic shaper abilities) on that PC that limits your internet speed.

this is what i got, the other PC is almost the same but he reach almost 190 Dspeed

from the operator ive declared 150 download speed with fiber and Glassfaser (i dont know how to translate that)oh what it can be? i've only installed the basic MSI softwares from the day one and a pair of games nothing more, maybe is something from MSI center?

Remove them all,[msi apps] then retest.

Or try use live cd instead:
and check the speed from there.

oh what it can be?

not sure they are many that can do that.

Also the i-net limitation could be from your router too,
if you have QoS & Bandwidth Limiter activated for the whole or this particular IP only / interface only.
