Hello i've purchased this prebuild desktop. everything is perfect exept the wifi. ive 2 pc at home, the otherone works fine but this one struggles with the wifi connection.
for example it always connect with the 2,4ghz connection and not with the 5ghz one, also after i've manually chose the 5ghz preference inside the device manager, ive tried to update the drivers but nothing works.
i've always ping spikes from normal 22ms to 3000 for 2 second and back to normal every 4 min. every one can help me? or i need to buy a Wifi card PCIe for the motherboard? :(
thanks in advice!!

i've wroted that above, the provider said 150mb minimum (but i see i can reach more)

When you got slow speed, test in the same time on other device under the same local network it's speed too,
to compare. Because no matter what ISP can says as min., this is not always true.
So double check that is indeed not your ISP from running the same test from other device.

Also try a different test server (select it manually) to make sure results are approx. close enough and its not server issue.

Remove them all,[msi apps] then retest.

Or try use live cd instead:
and check the speed from there.

not sure they are many that can do that.

Also the i-net limitation could be from your router too,
if you have Q

if you have QoS & Bandwidth Limiter activated for the whole or this particular IP only / interface only.

perfect i will try with this one, i need to put the file in one USB key and change the boot from usb?

That particular version appears to work with standard MBR only,
means you may need to disable UEFI Mode in BIOS prior booting from the USB key.

But I would suggest removing all MSI apps 1st.
this include MSI Center, and retest.
Use this tool to remove it:

And compare the results with another device's results within the same network,
test both at approx. the same time.
Etc: one after another.

the other device is from my wife and we use both of them at the same time, tride also the speedtest togheter but the other one have no issues and everytime at max speed

Try the Live CD version.

Other things to do try:
* Rotate the 2 antennas and reposition them for better signal and less interference.
[you may need to use 3rd party app. to figure the best signal determination, like WiFi Analyzer]
* Do reset the router or use router factory defaults and retest. If needs check for firmware update for your router.
* Do test the Wi-Fi local speed, from PC to PC and check how many Mbps will reach in there.

I‘ve deleted all the msi Apps but still have Problems

You did not answer to a very important question (and test):
For that "Innsbrucker" server you have 35Mbps Download (very low speed!) and 44Mbps Upload (very good speed, suitable for 120-200Mbps Download).
What are the numbers for your wife's computer (in the same room)?

Yeah, that forgot to ask.
Show what results you have exactly, and show the results on yours wife's computer when using the same server.
Each one tested one after another. (not both at the same time, and not tested at different times)

Sorry I thought it was written on, I answered with the smarphone and maybe I did not add, those are the results of the other pc. same ping, same upload speed with and older wifi system...

Almost the same to the which issue?
Low download speed or ping dropouts or both?
Or there wasn't any dropouts, but ping spikes only?
Else I see the upload speed is fixed compared to original screenshot.

Yes, it should not touches any existing data from storages. But boot from USB key.

For the info, which Wi-Fi driver version exactly you currently use?

already tried,
Which one from those you have tried?:

for both for download speed and ping spikes, still here without any change.
this screenshot is from my wife computer, mine still the same as the first ScreenShot,
this is the driver version of the 8852CE on the MSI infinite 6001.16.126.317 (the system system say they are the last one)

i've tried to play with the antennas and not reset the router because it is new from yesterday and have the same issues of the old one (the problems not changed from a router to another just a better download speed on my wife pc)

Have a try latest drivers from here:
8852CE, [1.0.0.258] 03 Dec 2024
then re-test

thank you! but unfortunally the exe file say the device is not compatible

oki, try install it manually
Go to extracted folder of ....\RTWLANE_Driver\Win10X64
and update Wi-Fi driver manually via device manager, select Wi-Fi driver,
[Update Driver], [Browse my computer for drivers], [Let me pick from a list...],
[Have a Disk..], [Browse], then from left select vendor [Realtek],
and from right list locate and select [Realtek 8852CE WiFi 6E PCI-E NIC]
then next, and finish. Then confirm that driver is updated,
should read: 6001.16.162.1

the full model is
Realtek 8852CE WiFi 6E PCI-E NIC

yes I know: [Realtek RTL8852CE WiFi 6E PCle Adapter]

maybe can be a wrong option on "Advanced" to put this kind of limit?

Yes, super.

this is a new speed test after the driver update

It shows some improvement.

Not sure, don't know what settings are in there, but doubt.

Now back to:
* Do test the Wi-Fi local speed, from PC to PC and check how many Mbps will reach in there.

always with the speedtest just one before the other?

Get this tool:
iperf3.18_64

And extract all files to some folder,
to both this PC (your PC with this Realtek Wi-Fi issue)
and to some other computer in your local network, preferred who is connected via Ethernet cable.

Then do this:
Run on your other computer from cmd:
iperf3.exe -s
and on your PC with Realtek Wi-Fi run from cmd:
iperf3.exe -c IP_ADDRESS

Where the IP_ADDRESS is the IP of your other(server) PC
then wait to finish and show the results.
