MSI MAG VAMPIRIC 010 How work RGB?

Hello,

Im considering about buying msi mag vampiric 010 case. My question is : How RGB works? if I wanna use it in MSI Mystic Light Do I have to connect it to motherboard ? If yes with RGB LED 12V or 5V ?

Yes you have to connect it with the JRGB from your Motherboard.

The JRGB connectors allow you to connect the 5050 RGB LED strips 12V.


Important: connect + from the cable with + from the JRGB ;-)

No, the infos provided by sascha.nagl are all not correct. 

The LED strip in the front can only be connected to power and not controlled with a mainboard but only with a button on the case.

The fan uses addressable +5v LEDs and can only be connected to a JRAINBOW 3-pin header for LED control via the mainboard. Else you'd need an external controller for addressable LEDs (+5v).

It is not possible to connect it to a 12v (4-pin) JRGB header.
