I have already submitted a ticket to MSI relating to this possible bug with the X570 Tomahawk WiFI running the new Beta Bios 1.2.0.2 7C84v163 but am posting here too just in case.

I am pleased to report, at least for me that this bios has fixed the issue of sound crackling/glitching over USB with my GoXLR mixer when using PCIE 4.0 which is great!

One thing I did notice upon booting into Windows after flashing to Beta Bios 1.2.0.2 7C84v163 is that the 'CPU Die (Average)' temperature sensor had disappeared completely. Not that much of a big deal, however Ryzen Master uses this sensor to give its temperature readout and thus this is typically the sensor I follow for temperature readings.

I don't know if this issue is just on my system or if it's affected other X570 Tomahawk boards and people may not have noticed.

The Bug:
It seems that every time after you flash to this particular bios (Beta Bios 1.2.0.2 7C84v163), the temperature sensor 'CPU Die (Average)' disappears and this is repeatable every time for me on this BIOS.

The Short Term Fix:
The only way to get 'CPU Die (Average)' back is by applying some custom settings (like your XMP profile for example), saving the changes, rebooting back into the BIOS, resetting it back to the optimized defaults, THEN you can apply all of your settings (such as XMP, PBO or whatever you want to do) and then 'CPU Die (Average)' will be back and behave as per usual. In other words, you cannot simply flash to Beta Bios 1.2.0.2 7C84v163 and then apply your settings because 'CPU Die (Average)' will be gone, you need to do a reset AFTER you've flashed the new bios.

As I said, I don't know if this issue is exclusive to me, exclusive to the X570 Tomahawk on this particular bios or more widespread, but I hope MSI sees it and I hope it helps others.

All the best.

I would also like to share my experience with this Agesa 1.2.0.2 BETA bios, however mine is MSI X570 Gaming Plus 7C37vAD2(Beta version) .

Apart from the missing CPU Die (Average) sensor reading upon flashing to this new bios (until I found this post for the solution) there are several other sensors have gone missing too that can't be detected by HWInfo64, until I did a Load Optimized Defaults from your solution:
1. CPU (Average) Temperature
2. Core 0 Power (SMU)
3. Core C States Residency all reads 0%

The PPT and Temperatur sensor values aren't available - during prime95 on 4 core the 5959x hits 100°C within seconds..
I stepped back to the last official BIOS.

The 7C37vAD (regular non-beta version) is available for the MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus.
