Bios v1.30 xmp OK
Bios v.140 xmp failed( start computer 30-40 sec black screen after again restart- again again ) not start bios and windows

CPU - Intel I9 13900kf
Motherboard - msi mag z790 tomahawk wifi ddr4
Memory - Patriot Viper 4 Blackout Series 64GB KIT DDR4 3600MHz CL18 x4 stick

jep thats perfectly possible, my z690 edge have the same that some bios versions are not stable with xmp,just run the older bios.Newer bios is not always better unfortunalty.

You should open a ticket with MSI, then they can try to reproduce it. It's better to have it fixed in a newer BIOS than to be restricted to an older BIOS version forever.
