that is a total no go.Has anyone had any luck making an MSI Radeon RX570 work on an MSI 785G-E65/53 motherboard?
that is a total no go.
the Graphics card has a GOP VBIOS (UEFI) and your motherboard has no UEFI Support even with a BIOS Update as it was before the support for UEFI came out.
How can I update my bios when I can't get Windows 10 to ever load, the computer continues to reboot during install and gives me various error messages each time it restarts. Even when I reinstall the old video card the same happens. Please help.why is this legend repeated over and over again? No, that is no no go.
A board using a legacy bios will work fine with vbios with a uefi vbios as being hybrid. The only problem is a uefi vbios and a mainboard uefi not being gop compliant (e.g. early Z77/X79 bios versions).
Only thing that matters here is bios support for later hardware. With an 785G-E65/53 board with latest bios there should be no problem using an RX570/580/590. As all available cpus/apus for the platform are dead slow and not suitable for gaming it wouldn't make much sense though.
