Hello,
I have purchased a new GPU this month, and after installation i can see its power have been limited to 150W only. there is no option for increasing Power limit in AMD adrenalin software as well.
This card is rated for 175W as tdp which can be increared upto 10%, but don't see those options avaliable. The card is connected via 1 6+2 pin pcie power cable only.
other components: 12600k, MSI b660m Mortar DDR4, MSI MPG A750GF power supply.
Assistance is needed, have checked cable connections etc.

Open up settings in Afterburner and make sure all voltage and power controls are enabled.
Are you on the latest available AMD driver?
Also check with MSI utility if there are any vBIOS updates (for some reason it isn't loading for me at the moment, so it may be MSI Dragon Center).

AMD driver is latest Ver. 23.5.2, tried with voltage control enabled. no change for power limits.
I do not see any vBIOS from MSI as well, nor got any avaliable from MSI center or dragon center.

Right.
If you put it under full load, lets say FurMark, what does the graph say about power draw?

these are the results after 4 mins of furmark stress test. GPU is limited to 150W, and from temps it can be seen it has lots of headroom.
is this a software issue or hardware problem in GPU?\

Looks like it is V-Bios locked to 150 watts may be for safety to prevent overheating but don't think so

Where did you get the GPU from some Prebuilds will have reduced power Bios and V-bios to prevent hardware damage

No need to open 2 year old threads. OP already forgot they had an issue.
Please open a new thread, as well as reach out to MSI about this.
