Hi, couple of days ago i finished my build and everything was working allright. But today i've noticed something weird.

My system:
CPU: i9 -13900k
MOBO: MSI MPG Z790 Carbon Wifi
AIO: MSI MEG Coreliquid s360
Case: MSI MEG Prospect 700r

i've built this system so i can render images. but my aio radiator fans are stuck between 740-760 rpm and the temperature shown on the aio is stuck at 37 degrees celsius

even when my MOBO shows 95-99 degrees (led debug), aio screen still shows 37-40 degrees and my case fans and my aio radiator fans are pretty quiet.

i've tried to change the sync mode to MOBO from the case screen but then still my radiator fans are pretty quiet even though my case fans are spinning much more faster. (but their rpm are stuck even with no load)

probably an error related to msi center. i used sync mode to msi center and adjusted the fan curves. but still aio radiator fans are stuck at 740-760 rpm even though my cpu is burning.

what should i do? thanks in advance...

PSU: MSI MEG ai1300p 1300w
RAM: G.skill 96gb (48x2) 6400mhz (F5-6400J3239F48GX2-TZ5RK)
GPU:Asus Tuf 4090 OC

i've enabled XMP. Not overclocking anything.

"does the radiator respond if you set everything to max RPM?"
No

"what memory are you using and do you have other fan curve control software installed?"
it's better i list all of my softwares:
-msi center
-armory crate (for gpu)
-iCue
-SteelSeries GG

Reinstalled msi center, and my problem was fixed. but then i downloaded mystic light and aio screen started showing cpu temperature: 0
Obviously the problem is caused by the msi center. after couple of uninstalling and installing msi center again and again, i guess now the problem seems solved, but not knowing what caused it or will it act the same way couple of days from now on is uncertain. MOBO led debug showin 96 99 degrees but msi center not detecting the temperature and aio & case spinning faster is a big big problem. hope they fix it.

What some people have found, is that if iCue starts before MSI centre, it brakes temperature monitoring in MSI centre. What do you need iCue for? You have a lot of programs all trying to do the same thing. Also is your motherboards BIOS set to Faran Hight? Might explain the high temperature.

for some reason without iCue i cannot control my keboard rgb settings. i know it supports mystic light and i can control only after i install iCue
and for the second question no, it's set to celsius. Also while rendering with v-ray 95-96 degrees is acceptable (i guess?)

Yeah, Corsair are a bit bad like that, they want iCue installed so it can talk to Mystic light instead of Mystic light just talking to the keyboard by default. For me at least until MSI Make their own RAM, I'm stuck with Corsair and iCue.

update on my issue: so i deactivated iCue, and still the same issue, aio screen showing same temperature even tho the cpu temp is higher/lower. restarting the system helps but after a while it gets stuck again. is there a page or support system that we can file a report for the msi center team to fix / or fix in the future updates?

i cannot change settings on msi center atm and it shows 0 rpm

Have you tried this?
1. Uninstall MSI Center and MSI Center SDK
2. Restart
3. Delete all MSI Files under C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI\ & %programdata% as well as %appdata%.
4. Run CleanCenterMaster (from here: https://download.msi.com/uti_exe/nb/CleanCenterMaster.zip) - this will restart.
5. Run CMD as Admin => enter sfc /scannnow and let this complete.
6. Restart
7. Now install MSI Center via MS Store

hey, just finished every step (in order) but still the lcd screen is stuck at 36 degrees celsius and the fans are not kicking under heavy load.
after resetting system sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. %100 sure it's related to msi center.

edit: my aio cpu_fan cable is plugged into the motherboard cpu_fan1 slot. all other cables are correct (sata etc.)
just curious can i plug my aio cpu_fan cable to my prospect 700r control board?

is that the screen on the case of the AIO? What's the manual for the 700R say? If it should be pluged into that, then yes, if not. then no.

at the startup aio screen shows the cpu temp correctly. but after couple of hours aio screen is stuck at some spesific degree even tho the cpu temp is different. and it prevents from msi center to get cpu temperature so when the cpu temp is higher the fans are not kicking.

leaving a video to show how mobo debug light differs from the aio screen

I am having the same problem with my Coreliquid S280 for some time now. Very sure its a MSI Center problem and there are a lot of people with the same problem but still no fix from msi. Starting to look around for a NZXT or ASUS AIO, seems the only solution at the time. Shame for the money spend!!!

Can you double check that the fan curves haven't been altered in BIOS? Just set everything to default and maybe clear the CMOS and then see what happens, to try and rule out a BIOS problem.

I finished assembling my computer, and a problem appeared that appears every time.
When you turn on the computer, sometimes the pump does not start and the processor begins to heat up to 100 degrees in a matter of seconds..
Even without starting the operating system, going into the BIOS it still heats up.
If you start the operating system, the display shows pump 0 rpm and the temperature rises to 100 degrees in 5 seconds.
After numerous on/off switches, the pump starts working on its own. Temperatures are normal, the display shows 30-40 degrees.
MEG S360 is connected strictly as written in manual. CPU FAN on header CPU FUN, other radiator cooler directly to water cooling, SATA to SATA.
I immediately updated the BIOS to the latest version and MSI Center.
Please help me, what could be the problem?

There should be a USB connection as well
Make sure it is correctly connected
As well as Update your BIOS and Install MSI Center and run a scan with Live update Advanced to check for any and all Firmware updates for the Motherboard and Pump

So, today the msi coreliquid addon is updated to 3.0.0.63 and cpu temp only shows 0 or the last degree it got stuck. before the update at least i could restart the system and get it working for couple of hours. is there a place we can send a ticket for help?

I also have a detailed problem. I found out that this is due to the use of a USB hub; as soon as you install any USB device in the hub, the MSI center immediately loses control of the liquid cooling system. After I removed the usb hub, the problem did not recur. Also, my pump doesn’t start with decorative overlays. in UEFI the temperature immediately rises to the point of overheating, and a CPU fan error appears.

hello, I'm having trouble with my CPU overheating. I just built the pc and the fans spin and everything, but it randomly stops cooling my CPU. I have got it to come back on again, but I have no idea what's causing it to turn off. I did a bios update already. When it does happen, it tells me that the CPU fan rpm is at 0 on BIOS.
operating sys: Windows 11 pro 64-bit
