Hi, couple of days ago i finished my build and everything was working allright. But today i've noticed something weird.

My system:
CPU: i9 -13900k
MOBO: MSI MPG Z790 Carbon Wifi
AIO: MSI MEG Coreliquid s360
Case: MSI MEG Prospect 700r

i've built this system so i can render images. but my aio radiator fans are stuck between 740-760 rpm and the temperature shown on the aio is stuck at 37 degrees celsius

even when my MOBO shows 95-99 degrees (led debug), aio screen still shows 37-40 degrees and my case fans and my aio radiator fans are pretty quiet.

i've tried to change the sync mode to MOBO from the case screen but then still my radiator fans are pretty quiet even though my case fans are spinning much more faster. (but their rpm are stuck even with no load)

probably an error related to msi center. i used sync mode to msi center and adjusted the fan curves. but still aio radiator fans are stuck at 740-760 rpm even though my cpu is burning.

what should i do? thanks in advance...

Same problem with my system (newly built a few weeks ago), even with actual latest MSI SW:
CPU: AMD 9800x3d
MOBO: MSI MPG x870e Carbon Wifi
AIO: MSI MEG Coreliquid s360

I have to reboot 2 or 3 times until temperature works after login.
Temperature always stucks after a second parallel user login in windows.
Temperatures also always stucks after logout and login again with same user.

Looking into the log-Files, it seems that CC_engine cannot be started due to "driver load fails" issue.
Hi, i have an identical copy of PC, and i partly fixed this problem(stacked temp of CPU) by installed previous version 2.0.29 msi center and blocked new updates, but mistic light is not working on this version - it's better than overheating.

I'm not sure if this really fixes the problem.
However, disabling "windows fast startup" as a workaround makes the MSI Software stable reagarding the temperature stuck issue as long as you do not logout and login again in the same session.

I think the SW developers of MSI have big problems in facing the windows behavior in case resuming from a suspend mode, which MS Windows seems to make always use of for a faster login or startup session.

do you have icue installed as well?
As mentioned in my previous posts, iCU is installed because it is required for a special Hardware (gaming controller).
Incompatibility problems between MSI Software and iCUE is often discussed in the net, so I disabled iCUE in the list of Windows Start-Apps.
I also disabled the watching of CPU parameters within iCUE.
I'm not sure if iCUE is also responsible for this issue.
MSI Software should be compatible anyway with iCUE installed.

Have the same problem(most of the time it showed 0 degrees) for about a year now with my S360 but what finally worked was:

I went in to BIOS and looked at hardware monitor(MSI Z790 carbon wifi board) and changed the CPU 1 where it gets the temperature from CPU to CPU socket and then saved .. as soon as i got to windows the temperature started showing again.. thus the fans work correctly too.

Some previous versions of MSI center worked and then didnt work but now im on 2.0.50.0 and its working.
Dont know if this will help anyone or for how long but thats what i did after i tryed everything from this thread.

Edit:
After Windows Update it went back to showing 0 degrees.. did the same process again and now i put the CPU 1 temp from CPU socket to CPU and it works again..

Is there any news regarding the S360 problem? I bought the S360 a month ago for my new PC and have had this temperature display problem ever since. It works for a few hours and then the display freezes at the last value or shows zero degrees. I have an MSI X870 Carbon WiFi board and a Ryzen 9800x3d processor as well as the latest BIOS (7E49v1A4) for the motherboard. The MSI Center version is 2.0.53.0 and the AIO software version shows 3.0.0.78. I have only installed the software for the AIO and the cooling assistant. I'm slowly losing my mind. I'm grateful for any help.

There is a new version of MSI Centre, it is now version 2.0.54.0

thx for your fast reply, i'll give it a try. it seems , the problems are beginning if i have many usb device connected at the same time. the aio seems to be runinng stable without any connected devices, but normally i have connected 5 or 6 different usb device at the same time. i play dcs world and have connected two joystick as a hotas system + track ir and plus 2 or 3 external hdd. so 5 or 6 devices are connected. if i restart my pc for any reasons, the problems are beginnning to start. i think the problems are related to the usb hid-interfaces and the s360 aio is then not able to read the temperature from bios anymore. maybe driver problems. the aio-hardware itself seems to be ok. hopefully the new msi center version is the right answer for this problem.

have a nice day

I have 6 USB devices connected and I don't have that issue.

If you have MSI MEG CoreLiquid S360 and get random “CPU FAN SPEED detection error” or the pump sometimes doesn’t start:

Fix:

Remove the magnetic pump cover → the pump works perfectly every time.
The problem is caused by the strong side magnets inside the metal cover interfering with the pump electronics / Hall sensors.

Permanent solution:

Remove the large side magnets from the cover (they only hold the metal side shroud; you can later use strong double-sided tape to fix it in place).
After removing them:
  • The pump starts 100% reliably
  • No more BIOS errors or 0 RPM on the pump
This looks like a design / tolerance issue where the magnets are too strong and too close to the pump electronics.
I bought this AIO used with this issue, but if yours is still under warranty, contact MSI support — they may be aware of this problem and can possibly provide a newer revision.
