I mail to msi member center about 1 weeks ago and still no response!!!!

I need customer support asap. My case is sent to taiwan head office one week, also no response.

Just answer my question or at least reply me something. I am now thinking that

Your"msi Member center"  has no one take care of this part already.

Help me . I bought your notebook first time and feel quite sad about your customer support, your process work very

slowwwww.

If you need further information,pm me.

By the way, is there anything that i can contact your customer support directy besides  of your msi member slow center.

Firstly, I would like to thanks "xmad" that reply my post. I feel so extremely abandoned when I have problem with MSI's product.

I have tried to contact msi via  msi center member but no one answer me and thai msi support still doesnot get answer from Head office.

I have already waitted for more than 1 week.

I bought gt780dx on early 2011. 3 months later, ants crawed into my notebook and eat one of msi's matterial, silicone ( white sheet that use to fused between electronics )

I didnot know what to do, I closed notebook and stopped using it during the night. ( usually I open computer to load movie at night )

but whenever I was away, ants came back again. I decided to move my computer desk to another corner of my room. Still, ants came back to my new location.

After this, I sent my notebook to MSI service to blow out all dead ants and cleaned all and finally no more ant problem crawling near my notebook again. My notebook has worked

perfectly fine until last week, while I was using my computer, it suddenly shut down. I brought my notebook to MSI SERVICE again and because of those silicone that partly eatten by

ants he refused warranty.

Now, TH MSI service sent this issue to consider whether MSI can do anything for me. I have waited for 9 days without any response from MSI head office.

I want to know the answer. will msi help me anything or not in this case. I have used my notebook in normal environment like other end-user do.

3 of my previous notebooks, 2202TX HP, A1-ASUS and S42-BENQ, has none of this problem.

Yesterday, I called Thai msi service, and technician said he mailed to msi head office (Taiwan) 2 times already , still head office doesnot reply anything and I have to wait another 7

days at least.

PS: Msi is now rapidly gaining reputation in Thailand but there is still no real msi service center like HP,ASUS,ACER,etc ,famous global name.

Your price is very resonable and compettitve comparing to those brands. Your brand will gain more reputation if you consider to open your own service center. Right now, you

hire "DCOM" to fix your notebook and the service that I get from this service center is unacceptable.( I mean the way to talk to customer ).

Again, this is a user to user forum. Please direct your recommendations of service centers and such to the proper people. Use the link xmad provided. Quite honestly, I haven't heard anything like this except kids in school who told the teacher a dog ate their homework, but this one takes the cake! Spill some sugary soda on the keyboard to attract the ants?

I brought my notebook to MSI SERVICE again and because of those silicone that partly eatten by ants he refused warranty.
I seriously doubt that a warranty is going to cover an act of nature by a colony of rogue ants that eat silicon! ;)

Some tough ants over there.  ;D
As stated, damage caused by oneself or some other act, including water damage and fauna attacking the device, amongst others, is unfortunately not covered. Perhaps it is unique in the sense that it may be a first for the Guiness Book of Records.

to Froggy Gremlin:

I addmted myself that when I used 2202TX HP, I ate and typed keyboard but never occured " ANT EAT SILICONE", they just crawed on keyboard.
but for MSI, I have never eatten and typed at the same time because the price of gt780dx is quite high so I don't want my notebook get dirty.
Moreover, I also pass my issue to proper way but I have been waited for more than 1 week without any reply at all and possibly have to wait at least another 1 week and no answer again.

to Bernhard:

If msi don't offer any help, just reply my question, not just ignore thier customer. MSI seems far more behide other brands about customer service. If you live in thailand, you would know how bad it is. For marketing,I admit myselft that they already have plently of trainned agents but for service part , they hire another company to take care of it. Besides, I wonder If I buy another msi's product,I am currently looking GT70, will this issue happen again? Why ant eat one of MSI's notebook part? Does it should be added something to prevent eatting or attracted by ant?
If they nested in notebook, it is accidental but ants EAT notebook's part, not habitat. I searched on google in thai langauage there are plently of issue about ant habitat on electronic devices, such as harddisk,  but I have not found anything like eatting part of notebook.

I am not asking msi to take full responsible in this matter but is it possible to help me partially. MSI is still the best choice for gaming notebook in thailand because of resonable price and will become more popular if msi consider to take care after sale support by establish your own service center which you can control your stuff's manner better than hire third party. It is unbearable when I took my notebook to service.

By the way, I wonder if this issue still come to haunt me if I buy MSI GT70 again.

It may take some time for an MSI employee to make a final decision on this rather unique situation you have experienced. In the meantime, I recommend to declare war on the ant population right away.

Hello Adonis,

I have not heard of this before, and you probably need to secure your perimeter first to prevent any foreign invasion.
Additionally, you can contact your vendor or local office to see if you can purchase a keyboard and replace it yourself or send the system in for non-warranty service.

Sincerely,
Warner

Yes. It was a less than subtle tongue-in-cheek recommendation to contact an exterminator to eradicate the crawly little beasts. :-))

Ok, that's enough. Sorry, we can't help you with your ant problem. Wait for an MSI answer if you already issued rma. Otherwise try contacting MSI again: >>How to contact MSI.<<

I will close this now as any further answer will probably just contain jokes again.
