Hi MSI,

Is it possible this monitor will be changed to UHBR20. This monitor is currently listed as UHBR 13.5 which is a deal breaker for alot of people, no one wants to use DSC (Dispaly Stream compression). I would buy this monitor in a heartberat if it was UHBR20 with no DSC required. LG's version of this panel will be UHBR20 with no DSC.

Feedback on reddit monitor forums is the same, this monitor needs to be UHBR20 with no DSC and released.

Well, we don't even know if MSI is really gonna launch the monitor. Better double check when it actually got released or the info is uploaded to the MSI product page.
No one here would be able to answer you that or I guess you just want to give some input for MSI, then it'd be easier to just contact MSI directly. :scratchchin:

I'm hoping they see this feedback and also the reddit / online feedback regarding UHBR20. I would email them if I knew the address.

just saying it wouldn't be easy to just switch to a different spec, to make a product, it needs to undergo research/developing, material/stock preparation, and shipping as well.
If you really need a UHBR20 monitor, you should just aim for other model imo.

I already have the mpg 272urx which is uhbr20. I was looking at moving to 5k and trying out the mini led 2300+ zones instead of just OLED, which I've used since 2019. It would be cool to have both monitors dual setup 😎

Wow that really sucks!

I was looking forward to this monitor because of the glossy coating, but being forced to use DSC is a deal breaker for me.

TFT central said the release date was Q4 this year, I sure hope theres time to change it, but I doubt MSI will. I do have my fingers crossed still.
